Volleyball Recap: Choctaw Central Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Choctaw Central waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins...and they left with four. They came out on top against the Philadelphia Tornadoes by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Choctaw Central was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-10, 25-10.

Choctaw Central has now won six of their last seven games at home. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-3 Union and 6-13 Philadelphia (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 34.6% over those games). As for Philadelphia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Choctaw Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Union on the 12th. As for Philadelphia, they will challenge Eupora at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
