High Tech Mesa lost to Horizon Prep back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Thunder walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunder.

While High Tech Mesa might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Horizon Prep scored at least 22 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 26-24.

High Tech Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Horizon Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. High Tech Mesa will square off against rival Victory Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Horizon Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
