Basketball Recap: King's Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

King won against Eastside Prep last Wednesday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The King's Knights walked away with a 64-56 victory over the Overlake Owls. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-47 last Tuesday.

King's has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Overlake, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's has already played their next matchup (against Bear Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Overlake Owls duke it out with the South Whidbey Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Overlake has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 184 points over their last three games.
