 Wilsonville entered their tilt with Centennial with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Centennial Eagles  on Tuesday and snuck past  4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wilsonville also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2023.
  Mia Rucker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Grace Wilson, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run and three  RBI.  Sophia Vega was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run.
 Wilsonville's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-7-1. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilsonville will  challenge Parkrose at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Wilsonville is facing Parkrose at the right time seeing as Parkrose is stuck on  a  15-game losing streak. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to  take on  La Salle at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. La Salle will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last.
