Softball Recap: Oneonta Takes a Loss

Oneonta fell victim to Ider and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Redskins have suffered since March 19, 2024.

Oneonta's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Ider, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Oneonta will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hokes Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Ider, they will be taking part in a tournament against Kate Duncan Smith DAR at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
