Basketball Recap: Logos Takes a Loss

Logos was the 37-32 winner over Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Logos Lions were beaten by the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Crusaders 63-35 on Thursday. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-12.

Ricardo Jones was his usual excellent self, going 15 of 28 on his way to 34 points and five steals for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis. The game was Jones' 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tremayne Jones, who posted 13 points.

Logos' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Logos will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis at 4:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, they will welcome Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.
