Green Mountain snaps four-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Green Mountain Chieftains vs. Twin Valley Wildcats
On Tuesday, the Green Mountain Chieftains faced the Twin Valley Wildcats in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Green Mountain ended up on the wrong side of a rough 67-43 walloping at the hands of Twin Valley. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for 52 points.
Twin Valley found their leader in underclassman Brayden Brown, who scored 32 points along with six rebounds and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Brown has scored at least 25% of Twin Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Dornbrgh, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Green Mountain's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Twin Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Green Mountain will be playing at home against Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Twin Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bellows Falls at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th.
