Volleyball Recap: Laney Wildcats vs. Davidson Fine Arts Titans
Laney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davidson Fine Arts Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.
Laney's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Davidson Fine Arts, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
Laney will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Johnson at 5:00 p.m. on September 24th.
