Baseball Game Preview: Pendleton Bulldogs vs. Council Rock North Indians

The Pendleton Bulldogs will face off against the Council Rock North Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pendleton easily dispatched West-Oak on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Bulldogs fell just short of Travelers Rest by a score of 8-6 on Monday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ayden Clay was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Clay was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Cody Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Council Rock North hadn't beaten Neshaminy on the road since May 15, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Indians narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Skins 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted against the Skins since May 15, 2023.

The team relied heavily on Will Seiler, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Noah Furman, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Council Rock North kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Council Rock North, their win bumped their record up to 4-6-1.
