Softball Recap: North Davidson Triumphs

North Davidson won the last time they faced East Forsyth and things went their way on Wednesday too. North Davidson came out on top against East Forsyth by a score of 10-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Knights.

Abigail Brown was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Heidi Barker, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Brown wasn't the only one working in the hit department: North Davidson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. North Davidson is a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

North Davidson's record now sits at 8-4. As for East Forsyth, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Looking ahead, North Davidson will square off against Central Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Davidson will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something North Davidson surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Forsyth, they will challenge Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Forsyth's pitchers better be ready for this one: Glenn has averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
