Basketball Recap: Lucas Comes Up Short

Lucas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Danville Blue Devils at home by a 59-43 margin. The Cubs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Lucas' loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lucas won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Highland at 6:16 p.m. on Saturday. As for Danville, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Centerburg at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
