Basketball Game Preview: Treutlen Vikings vs. Wilkinson County Warriors

The Treutlen Vikings just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Wilkinson County Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Treutlen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.

On Monday, Treutlen made easy work of Emanuel County Institute and carried off a 73-49 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wilkinson County unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hancock Central.

Treutlen is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Wilkinson County, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-6.
