Basketball Recap: Chief Paul Memorial Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Chief Paul Memorial had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Kongiganak Wolverines by a score of 56-47. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-59 on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Kongiganak lost, don't look at Greyson Otto. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points. Those 15 points gave Otto a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Charlie, who earned eight points.

Chief Paul Memorial's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Kongiganak, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
