Poudre's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Foster, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Taylor Cornell-nosaka was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Erie's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Haan, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marco Martinez, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Poudre has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Erie, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poudre will face off against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brighton is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Erie, they will head out on the road to square off against Northglenn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
