Soccer Game Preview: Tahoma vs. Kentridge

The Tahoma Bears will face off against the Kentridge Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tahoma will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Tahoma proved they can win big on Friday (they won by five) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Mt. Rainier, sneaking past 2-1. Given Tahoma's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked first, while Mt. Rainier are ranked 39th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kentridge). Everything went their way against Auburn on Tuesday as they made off with a 6-1 win. Kentridge haven't had any issues with Auburn recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Tahoma's win bumped their record up to 13-0-1. As for Kentridge, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-3.
