Wells is a perfect 9-0 against Lund since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 5:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Wells' defense has only allowed 26.8 points per game this season, so Lund's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Wells is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Eureka on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Wells lost 44-19 to Eureka. The Leopards have struggled against the Vandals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lund). They blew past Jackpot 51-10 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won three in a row.

Wells' loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Lund, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.

Everything went Wells' way against Lund when the teams last played back in January, as Wells made off with a 41-18 victory. Does Wells have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lund turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
