Fort Morgan barely beat Northridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Fort Morgan never let Northridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 26-24.

Ava Taylor paced Fort Morgan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Taylor got some help from Carmen Gonzales and her 28 assists. Gonzales was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Northridge lost, don't look at Aiyana Diaz. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and five aces. Diaz is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Fort Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Fort Morgan has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Weldon Valley on the 30th. Northridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
