Softball Recap: Winona Comes Up Short

Winona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Mineola Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.

Winona's record now sits at 0-15. As for Mineola, their win bumped their record up to 13-10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Winona is set to square off against their familiar foe Malakoff at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mineola will take on rival Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
