Dynamic duo of Isaac Beiermann and Lukas Worster lead Nebraska Lutheran to victory

The Nebraska Lutheran Knights put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Weeping Water by a score of 50-38. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Nebraska Lutheran has scored all year.

Nebraska Lutheran was led to victory by Isaac Beiermann and Lukas Worster. Beiermann scored 12 points, while Worster scored nine points along with five rebounds and five steals. The game was Beiermann's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Eli Vogt, who scored nine points along with three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Weeping Water lost, one person who can't be blamed is Riggs Wilson. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 2 assists. Wilson scored a full 63.2% of Weeping Water's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gus Mcgill, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Weeping Water struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Nebraska Lutheran's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Weeping Water, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Nebraska Lutheran and Osceola will face off at 7:45 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
