Campbell has gone 8-2 against Leilehua recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Campbell Sabers will look to defend their home field against the Leilehua Mighty Mules at 3:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Campbell is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering 'Aiea just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Campbell got a good showing from Vaden Sabino, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, Campbell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colten Silva, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Silva snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Leilehua's offense. They came up short against Pearl City on Wednesday, falling 8-0. The Mighty Mules haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Campbell's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Leilehua, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Campbell's way against Leilehua in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Campbell made off with a 14-2 win. Will Campbell repeat their success, or does Leilehua have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
