Volleyball Recap: Norris' Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Norris had won three straight games and Carlie Talbott did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Titans blew past the Standing Bear Grizzlies 3-0 thanks in part to Talbott, who had eight digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

Norris walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-20.

When it comes to explaining why Standing Bear lost, don't look at Reese Pedersen. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and four assists.

Norris' win bumped their record up to 35-1. As for Standing Bear, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 18-17.

Looking ahead, Norris will take on Gering at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Standing Bear does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
