Soccer Recap: Osceola Takes a Loss

Osceola was the 3-1 winner over St. Petersburg when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Osceola Warriors fell 2-0 to the St. Petersburg Green Devils on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Warriors haven't been shut out since back in November of 2024.

Osceola's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for St. Petersburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osceola will head out to face off against Tampa Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Petersburg, they are taking a road trip to take on Boca Ciega at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
