Volleyball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Copper Canyon Aztecs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Aztecs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Washington's record now sits at 3-11. As for Copper Canyon, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Washington will challenge Marana at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Copper Canyon, they will take on Thunderbird at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The Titans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Aztecs surely won't give up without a fight.
