Basketball Recap: Dixie County Takes a Loss

Dixie County lost against Chiefland back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dixie County Bears received a blow as they fell 61-43 to the Chiefland Indians. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dixie County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Chiefland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Dixie County has already played their next contest (against Branford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chiefland and Citrus will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Chiefland is facing Citrus at the right time seeing as Citrus is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
