Softball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington entered their game against Gardner-South Wilmington on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Minutemen fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-5. The Minutemen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, their win bumped their record up to 19-11.

Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, they will square off against Illinois Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
