Basketball Recap: Fideles Christian Takes a Loss

Fideles Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 43-24 bruising from the Horizon Christian Academy Warriors. The Rangers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Horizon Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Nyla Black, who went 8 of 12 on her way to 17 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. The contest was Black's 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Davidson, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Fideles Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Fideles Christian will head out to square off against The King's Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-25 victory against The Grace Christian Academy on the 16th.
