Softball Recap: Winchester Red & Black vs. Reading Memorial Rockets
Winchester started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Reading Memorial. They lost 16-4 to the Reading Memorial Rockets on Monday. Winchester has struggled against Reading Memorial recently, as their game on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Campbell Henning made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Carys Gugliotta, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Winchester's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Reading Memorial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.
