Basketball Recap: Queensbury Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Queensbury came tearing into Saturday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Hudson Falls Tigers as they made off with a 53-30 win. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Queensbury had a senior duo take command as Shea Canavan almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals and Kayla Zehr dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards. Canavan has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 35 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Meredith Clark, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Queensbury's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 21 points. As for Hudson Falls, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
