Softball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover lost against Keene back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Green Wave fell 8-5 to the Blackbirds. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elizabeth Cook was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Sonja Castonguay was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Keene, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover will take on rival Portsmouth at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Keene is set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop Guertin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
