Basketball Recap: Northwest Halifax Collegiate & Technical Academy's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Louisburg came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Northwest Halifax Collegiate & Technical Academy, but Daveion Richardson wouldn't allow it. The Vikings managed a 53-49 victory over the Warriors on Monday thanks in part to Richardson, who went 7-for-16 en route to 19 points and six rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Jan Lynch, who posted seven points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Louisburg saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Micheal McLean shot 45% from the field on his way to 25 points and eight boards. That was a full 51% of the Warriors' points, marking the sixth time in a row McLean has had more than a third of the team's points. Jeremiah Closs was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.
