Basketball Recap: St. James Triumphs

St. James won the last time they faced Martin County West and things went their way on Saturday too. The St. James Saints walked away with a 71-61 victory over the Martin County West Mavericks.

St. James' win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Martin County West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. James will face off against Windom at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. James knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Windom likes a good challenge. As for Martin County West, they will square off against St. James at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
