Softball Recap: Jeffersontown Takes a Loss

Jeffersontown's last matchup with Whitefield Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Chargers lost 16-0 to the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jeffersontown's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Whitefield Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.

Looking ahead, Jeffersontown will square off against Presentation at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whitefield Academy, they will challenge Bullitt East at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
