Baseball Game Preview: Rancho Cucamonga Cougars vs. Northview Vikings

The Rancho Cucamonga Cougars will take on the Northview Vikings at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Rancho Cucamonga will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Rancho Cucamonga's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Adelanto with a sharp 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Jose Gomez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Northview and Los Altos finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw on Monday.
