Volleyball Recap: Iroquois West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Iroquois West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ridgeview Mustangs. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Iroquois West started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-13, 25-21.

Iroquois West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Ridgeview, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.

Looking ahead, Iroquois West will square off against Hoopeston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgeview, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Roanoke-Benson on the 7th.
