Miller entered their tilt with Ethan on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on Ethan with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for Miller, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Miller won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Kate Lichty and Paige Werdel, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Gracen Werdel and her 33 assists. Paige also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaihlyn Anderberg, each putting up three.

Miller's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Ethan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-11.

Coming up, Miller will head out on the road to challenge Highmore/Harrold at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ethan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tripp-Delmont/Armour at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
