Baseball Recap: Centralia Victorious

After only two runs in their last matchup, Centralia made sure to put some runs up on the board against Harrisburg on Saturday. Centralia came out on top in a nail-biter against Harrisburg, sneaking past 10-9. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

The team relied heavily on Hank Lee, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Anthony Ford, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Centralia has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Harrisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Centralia and Harrisburg will both be playing Marceline the next time they take the field. Harrisburg will head out to face Marceline at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Centralia will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
