Softball Game Preview: Henley Hornets vs. St. Helens Lions

The Henley Hornets will face off against the St. Helens Lions on Friday. Henley is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.

Henley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 12-8 victory over Pendleton.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when St. Helens faced off against Junction City on Tuesday. The Lions blew past the Tigers 11-1. Considering the Lions have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Helens' win bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Henley, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

Henley might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from St. Helens when the teams last played back in March. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
