Greenwood barely beat Amanda Elzy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Greenwood blew past Amanda Elzy 23-16 on Thursday. Considering the Bulldogs have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Makayla Hunter was a standout: she scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Chari Brownlee was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Amanda Elzy, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Greenwood will head out to square off against Leland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
