Baseball Recap: Westport Takes a Loss

Westport has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.05 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Case Cardinals, falling 10-3. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Westport's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6-1. As for Case, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Westport will be playing at home against Belmont at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Case, they are taking a road trip to square off against Old Rochester Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
