Basketball Game Preview: West Carteret Patriots vs. J.H. Rose Rampants

Two dominant guards in Skyler Setzer and Alaya Clemons are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The West Carteret Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the J.H. Rose Rampants at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Carteret is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Jacksonville just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Monday. They were outmatched by the Cardinals and fell 73-43. The Patriots were down 61-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, J.H. Rose had to suffer through a 62-0 loss at the hands of D.H. Conley. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Rampants were not able to get on the board.

J.H. Rose dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for West Carteret, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.
