Football Recap: Ramona Wins Going Away Against San Pasqual + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Ramona and San Pasqual had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 35-14 margin over the Golden Eagles on Friday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 20-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ryan Shaw had a dynamite game, throwing for 177 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 62 yards and one score on only seven carries. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in August of 2024.

San Pasqual lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jared Brecht, who picked up 79 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Renteria, who threw for 241 yards on 20 of 34 attempts.

The win got Ramona back to even at 4-4. As for San Pasqual, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ramona will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Escondido at 7:15 p.m. on the 24th. As for San Pasqual, they will head out to face off against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
