Softball Game Preview: St. Pauls Bulldogs vs. West Bladen Knights

For the second straight game, St. Pauls will face off against West Bladen. St. Pauls will take on West Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Pauls is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

While St. Pauls' victory against West Bladen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. St. Pauls had just enough and edged out West Bladen 6-5 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 2, 2024.

Angel Purcell was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Madison Locklear also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

St. Pauls moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for West Bladen, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record.
