Princeton waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 21-4 margin over the Esparto Spartans. Considering the Eagles have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mackenzie Wills was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Jada Dillard was another key player, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two RBI and one double.

Princeton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .609. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Princeton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.7 runs over those games. As for Esparto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Princeton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Happy Camp on the 10th. As for Esparto, they will face off against Elite at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
