Vincent is 8-2 against Comer since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Vincent and Southeastern, and Southeastern kept the tradition alive. Vincent came up short against Southeastern last Thursday, falling 17-2.

Vincent saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McKenzie Fields, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Comer fell victim to Thorsby and their airtight pitching crew last Thursday. They lost 20-0 to the Rebels.

Comer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Vincent, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Comer's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Vincent has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Comer, though, as they've been averaging 8.8 hits. Given Vincent's sizable advantage in that area, Comer will need to find a way to close that gap.

Vincent took their victory against Comer when the teams last played on March 3rd by a conclusive 24-11. Does Vincent have another victory up their sleeve, or will Comer turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
