Big game from Moore as Phoebus won 14-4
Phoebus was led to victory by Joe Moore, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Monday. Moore made a splash, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). It looks like he has Heritage's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them, too.
Moore and Phoebus will head out on the road to take on Hampton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Phoebus has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
