Basketball Recap: Easton Comes Up Short

Easton lost against Hodgdon last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Easton Bears lost to the Hodgdon Hawks at home by a 46-29 margin. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Easton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Hodgdon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easton will take on Central Aroostook at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Aroostook will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Easton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hodgdon, they will challenge Southern Aroostook at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Hodgdon's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Southern Aroostook has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
