The Au Gres-Sims Wolverines will head out on the road to challenge the Hillman Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Au Gres-Sims is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Au Gres-Sims' strategy against the Eagles on Monday. Au Gres-Sims walked away with a 43-31 victory over the Eagles.
Au Gres-Sims relied on the efforts of Sophie Fox, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Analeis Ming, who scored 19 points along with five steals. Ming is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Lillie Maser was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Hillman can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They blew past Posen, posting a 57-26 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hillman.
Au Gres-Sims is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Hillman, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
Au Gres-Sims came up short against the Tigers when the teams last played back in January, falling 61-52. Can Au Gres-Sims avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
