Softball Preview: Claremont Wolfpack vs. Bonita Bearcats

Claremont is 2-8 against Bonita since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Claremont Wolfpack will head out on the road to face off against the Bonita Bearcats at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Wednesday, everything went Claremont's way against Glendora as Claremont made off with a 16-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Claremont.

Kacie Gossett tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in ten consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Lindsey Olivo-Mascareno and Danni Stanton did most of the damage at the plate: Olivo-Mascareno went 2-for-3 with a stolen base, a double, and an RBI, while Stanton went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a double.
