Maize South waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Hays Indians. The result was nothing new for Maize South, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Maize South's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three games. As for Hays, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maize South will venture away from home to take on Bishop Carroll on Monday. Maize South will need to watch out since Bishop Carroll have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for Hays, they will challenge Garden City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
