Normal University came tearing into Saturday's matchup with 20 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Emma Jean Lehnen was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Bloomington Central Catholic still got an impressive performance from Kendall Fair, who had 19 assists and eight digs. Fair is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Normal University's victory bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, with the loss, they broke their 12-match winning streak and moved their record to 26-5.

Normal University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Glenwood on the 14th.
